Protected data storage
A local backup, an encrypted offsite copy and a secured network, installed and watched by HybriX, with a dashboard that shows it working.
What is included
Six parts that work together. Which ones you get depends on your package.
Local backup server
HybriX Vault sits in your office and copies your data automatically, with locked snapshots that cannot be deleted or encrypted by ransomware or a stolen password. Everyday restores are fast because the copy is on your network.
Offsite copy
HybriX CloudSync keeps an encrypted copy outside your premises, updated automatically, so a fire, flood or theft at your office does not take your data with it.
Secured network
HybriX Shield adds a managed firewall, a separate network for your servers and storage, and secured remote access, so one compromised device cannot reach everything.
Monitoring and alerts
Your storage reports its health every few minutes. If it stops reporting, or a backup, drive or connection fails, we are alerted and contact you.
Restore tests
A backup is only proven when it has been restored. We run restore tests with you and record the result, so recovery is something you have seen work.
Client dashboard
A resilience score with the reasons behind it, live status of your backup and storage, alerts in plain language, and an emergency button that reaches us.
What the free audit checks
About 20 questions across three areas, answered together with you in one sitting.
Data and backup
- How your data is copied today, and how often
- Whether there is a copy outside the office
- When a restore was last tested
- Whether backups are protected from deletion
- Whether anyone is alerted when a backup fails
- Device encryption and malware protection
Network and access
- How your network is laid out
- What sits between your office and the internet
- How staff reach office systems remotely
- Two-step sign-in for email and cloud apps
- How admin passwords are handled
Governance and continuity
- Whether there is a recovery plan
- Who can delete or change backups
- Staff security awareness
- Who to call, and what to do, in an incident
- Protection against power cuts
What you receive
- A readiness score out of 100, with a risk rating
- A list of the gaps found, with why each one matters, in plain English
- Estimated recovery times for a device failure and for losing the whole office
- A written proposal with a recommended package and a quote
Why we keep two copies
How long recovery takes depends on how much data you have and how fast it can be copied back. As an example, restoring 2 TB from the server in your office takes about 8 hours including set-up. Bringing the same 2 TB back from the cloud over a 100 Mbps connection takes roughly 3 to 4 days. That is why we keep both: the local copy for everyday problems, and the offsite copy for the day the office itself is lost.
These are indicative estimates based on typical speeds. Your audit gives figures for your own data and connection, and a restore test shows them in practice. They are not guarantees.

Prices depend on how much data you have and how you work, so we quote after a short conversation. Hardware can be bought or rented on a term.

How we monitor, and what we can see
- Your storage sends a short status report every few minutes. If reports stop, or a backup, drive, or the offsite copy falls behind, we are alerted.
- Reports contain status and sizes only: whether backups ran, how full the storage is, the health of the drives. They never contain your file names or contents.
- Every client sees only their own information. Access to our systems requires two-step sign-in.
Questions we are often asked
Do I need to buy new hardware?
Not always. The audit shows what you have and what is worth keeping. We can supply hardware for you to buy, or rent it to you on a term.
Can you stop ransomware?
No one can promise that. What we do is make sure you can recover: locked snapshots that attackers cannot delete, a separate offsite copy, and restore tests that prove it works.
Where is the offsite copy kept?
In encrypted form with a cloud storage provider. We confirm the provider and the location in your proposal before you decide.
What happens when something fails?
Our monitoring alerts us when a backup, a drive or a connection fails. We contact you and fix it. Response times are agreed in your service agreement.
How long would a recovery take?
It depends on how much data you have and how fast your internet is. The audit gives you an estimate for each type of failure, and the restore test shows it in practice.
Can you see my files?
No. Our dashboard shows status and sizes only (whether backups ran, how full the storage is), never your file names or contents.
What about computers, CCTV and networking?
We still supply, install and support them. See the services section below.
